Please remember that language is important. Calling them Hamas "militants" is misleading. Hamas is designated as a terrorist organization. The individuals who targeted civilians should be referred to as terrorists, not militants.

CNN is talking mostly about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Hamas did not consider the welfare of the Palestinian people when it stated this war on Israel. I am sure they were fully aware of the consequences. I feel so sad at the plight of civilian families on both sides, especially the children. In any war, it's the innocents that suffer the most.

I am sure Hamas did consider the welfare of the people and wrote it off as the price to be paid to achieve their goals. The murderous suicidal actions of Hama can only bring joy to their real god Satan, and they are blinded to his presence by their hate. Fortunately, we know Satan will be crushed in the end.

I pray that the Palestinians will be liberated from Hamas.

…both Israeli and Hamas forces calling for the obliteration of the other…
I would not bet on Israel being obliterated. Why? From 1947 to 1973 Israel was outnumbered by its Arab neighbors and fought four major wars (and one smaller one) and won them all. It’s a miracle of Biblical proportions that Israel won. There is no reason to believe that track record will change.

If anything helps me to keep the faith, it's God's track record of faithfulness to His people.
