When I took a "joy for all", kitty to my mom the first time, I was stopped at the nurses station "You can't bring a cat into this place!" From that moment on until her death a year latter that little robo kitty was her constant companion. For my mom it was a great source of comfort and joy. It helped her and other patients navigate their crumbling world. The only problem I ever had with the robo kitty was when mom tried to feed it! What a mess, we bought a second kitty to be able to swap out for cleaning. We left those kitties with the nursing home after mom passed and a load of batteries, I hope they are still being loved on by someone who needs a companion.
